Analytics: what worked

Views, reach, shares, saves and watch time from your connected channels, YouTube retention and audience, and which posts to repeat.

Analytics fills in once a channel is connected. You can also type in numbers for a post you made by hand.

Overview

Your posts' views and engagement across channels. For Instagram and Facebook you also get reach, shares, saves, skip rate and watch time: the numbers Instagram ranks Reels on. A post you made by hand can get its numbers typed in, so the totals stay right.

  • What changed at the top says, in a few lines, the biggest change on the period before, the post that stood out against your usual, and one thing to try next. With fewer than 5 posts with numbers it says so instead of guessing. Ask why opens Ask with the question typed in; you press Send.
  • Each number shows its change on the period of the same length before it ("up 31% on the 30 days before"). All has nothing to compare with, so it shows none.
  • Clicks and chats counts clicks on the tracked links in your posts and the WhatsApp chats they started. Follows come from Instagram feed posts.
  • Top posts can be ranked by Shares per reach (the default once 5 posts report reach), Saves per reach, Likes per reach, Watch time (Reels), Views or Brought customers: clicks, chats and taps on your Instagram profile's bio link, Call and Directions. Reels don't report profile taps, so theirs show a dash.
  • What works for you compares your own posts by post type, format, language (read from the script: Tamil, Hindi, English or mixed) and time of day, against your usual. A group shows once it has 3 posts.
  • Write a post about it on a top post starts a new post in the same direction.
  • Run an ad on a post that does well opens the Promote help.

Accounts connected through Zernio

Accounts you connected with one click in Brand › Channels show in Overview under Via Zernio: each account's followers, how many it gained or lost in the period with a line of its daily count, and its posts' views, likes and comments. Top posts via Zernio lists the 5 with the most views, with a link to each. Posts you made on the platform itself count too, not only ones sent from Creators Master.

  • Zernio reads the numbers once a day. Right after you connect, it says First daily sync is pending; come back the next day.
  • All covers the last year, the most Zernio reads at once.
  • Numbers through Zernio come with the connection; there's nothing extra to buy.
  • With only Zernio accounts connected, Connect a channel doesn't show. Connect YouTube or Instagram directly as well for YouTube Analytics, retention and the Instagram tab.

YouTube

With YouTube connected: views, watch time, average view duration and average percentage viewed, subscribers gained and lost, where viewers watch and which sites sent them, and your Shorts with engaged views. Retention shows where viewers left a video; open the project in Video to fix that spot.

Thumbnail impressions and click rate

How often YouTube showed a video's thumbnail (impressions) and what share of those people clicked (click rate). You see them on each video in Retention and in Promotion. Seen a lot, clicked by few lists videos with many impressions but a click rate under your channel's usual; Try a new thumbnail opens the video's project in Video if it's linked, or Images. After a Test & Compare, a video shows its click rate before and after the day you noted the winner.

Instagram

With Instagram connected and insights allowed: followers gained and lost per day, how many of the people you reached already follow you, the posts that brought followers, taps on your profile's Call, Directions and other buttons, and your followers by city, country, age and gender.

  • Posts that brought followers lists feed posts and Stories. Reels don't report follows or profile taps.
  • Followers per day shows the last 30 days at most, up to yesterday. Instagram can be 2 days behind.
  • Followers by city, country, age and gender come for this month (or this week on the 7-day period), as Instagram gives them.

Story numbers

Instagram keeps a Story's numbers for 24 hours only. Creators Master saves them while the Story is live, about 2 hours and again about 20 hours after it goes up, and keeps the highest. They show under the Story in the Instagram tab: "12 tapped your link, 3 replied, 40 left here".
