Clean-up options: pauses, captions, zoom, looks and sound

Every clean-up switch on one page (cut the pauses, captions, zoom, make it vertical, extra pictures, music, a colour look), to make the video in one go.

Clean-up options: switch things on, press Apply, compare before and after.

The quickest way is to ask the AI editor: the ideas above its box (Make it a Reel, Clean up only, For YouTube) write the request for you. To set each switch yourself, press All clean-up options next to them. The page opens in the editor; Editor at the top takes you back.

Start from a preset at the top (Reels & Shorts, Clean-up only, YouTube or Looks), or switch things on one by one. Most of it is free once your clips' speech is turned into text. Press Apply to make the video. Hold \ or the compare button to see before and after.

Cut

SwitchWhat it does
Cut the pausesTakes out silences between sentences.
Cut um and uhRemoves filler words like um, uh and matlab. With Keep the ones that matter on, AI keeps a sound that is part of a reaction or a joke (about 1 credit).
Cut repeated linesRemoves false starts and lines you said twice, keeping the best one.

After Apply, What the AI did says it in one line, like "Cut 6.1 s of pauses · Cut 9 um and uh · Kept "mmm" that mattered · Cut 1 repeated line", with each kept sound and why.

Look

Press Looks for a whole style in one pick: the same few seconds of your video in each. Each look says who it suits: Editorial for coaches, experts and explainers; Bold for tips, numbers and lists; Creator for fast, funny and trending videos; Soft for beauty, fashion and lifestyle; Paper for travel, food and day-in-my-life. Bold, Creator and Paper also put small sounds on key words.

Make my style from a video

At the bottom of Looks, press Upload a video and pick a reel whose look you love, or one of your own best ones. We copy its feel (how fast it cuts, the subtitle style, font, place and colours, the colour of the picture), not its content. Check what was found, then press Use it and save as my style: this project uses it, and new projects start from it. The video is read once and not kept.

Added sample videos in Brand › Your business under Samples of your style? Pick one under Or edit like your brand samples instead of uploading, or press Like my brand samples next to Looks. A project with no look picked yet shows your first sample as Edit like your brand sample at the top of Looks; it is only used when you press Copy its style and then Use it and save as my style.

Several styles with names

Keep a style for each kind of video or each client: in Looks, press Save as a named style and give it a name ("Shop offers", "Tips", "Client A"). It shows in Looks in every project. Under it, Use for new projects makes it the style new projects start from, and Delete removes it.

SwitchWhat it does
ZoomMovement, so a talking video doesn't look still: Zoom in at cuts (a small punch-in at each cut) or Slow push-in (the picture slowly grows through each shot).
Transitions between scenesA transition each time the video changes to another clip or jumps ahead, not at the small trims inside a sentence: Crossfade, Dip to black, Whip, Flash, Slide, Zoom, Glitch, Spin, Circle, Blur or Wipe. Each look brings its own.
Make it verticalMakes a wide video 9:16 for Reels and Shorts, following your face.
Colour lookA ready-made look, or your own .cube LUT (kept for all your projects), with a slider for how much of it shows.
BackgroundBlurs or replaces the background behind you, without a green screen.

Captions and text

  • Subtitles burned into the video, timed to every word. Styles: Karaoke, Bold, Boxed, Clean, Outline (a thick dark edge) and Shadow (a soft drop shadow). Pick the size, position, highlight colour, emoji on some lines, and key words in colour.
  • How words appear (the Subtitles panel): Pop, Bounce, Fade, Slide up, One word at a time, Typewriter (the line builds up as it's said) or Colour sweep (the highlight fills each word as it's said).
  • Font: six ready fonts, Hindi and Indian scripts (Baloo 2, Rozha One, Yatra One, and Noto Sans for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada and Malayalam), More fonts, or Upload a font (.ttf or .otf, kept for all your projects). A font from the lists downloads the first time you pick it.
  • Keep off my face: when a subtitle line would cover your face, it moves to a clear place for that moment. Your face is found on the server; nothing is uploaded anywhere else.
  • Caption language: captions in another language, translated for you.
  • Opening title: big words over the first 3 seconds. Three titles written from what you say suggests some.
  • Logo: your logo in a corner, with size, opacity and when it shows.
  • Text items and graphics: lower thirds, big numbers, checklists, outro cards, or an animated graphic AI makes from a description. Text comes in with Fade, Slide, Pop, Bounce, Zoom in, Drop in, Blur in or Typewriter.
  • Stickers: arrows, circles, ticks, fire, hearts and more, as pictures over the video, in three sizes. Add one with Sticker in the Text panel.
  • Browse effects (in the Text panel): about 30 ready effects as picture cards, for creators, coaches, brands, YouTube and niches like food and travel. Hover a card to see it move, press Add, then change its words. Ready ones are free; cards marked AI are drawn by a small paid AI call.
  • Download the captions as .srt or .vtt for YouTube and web players.
Browse effects: find one by picture, press Add, then change its words.

Extra pictures

Pictures over what you say: your own photos (kept for all projects) or AI pictures. They appear at the start of spoken phrases, full screen or as a card beside you.

Free animations

In the Text panel, under Animated, Free animations finds animations from LottieFiles that are free for business use. Type a word (sale, gift, confetti, arrow) and click one to add it at the playhead.

Add animations for me reads what you say and puts a small animation beside you on up to four key moments: a price or discount, an offer, “subscribe”, “like” or “follow”, “order” or “buy”, “link in bio”, something free, something new, a festival, a tip, a warning. Each one is a normal graphic afterwards: move it, resize it or delete it.

Sound

  • Clean audio: remove background noise on the server (free), or AI voice isolation that keeps only your voice (paid, price shown first).
  • Music for each part: press Follow the moments and the AI reads what you say, in any language, and the music changes when the tone does, like a good Reel: playful when you're being funny, emotional when it turns sad. Each part gets a free song for its mood. After your last word the music comes up and fades out. Moods stay with your words, so they follow your re-cuts.
  • Each part is a strip under the Music lane, named like Funny · 0:00–0:12. In the Music panel, change a part's mood or press Another song. The end part (Outro) keeps the song before it, louder, or takes its own mood. The preview plays each part's song.
  • Add music automatically (on unless you switch it off): once your cut has words, music for each part is added by itself, once. It never replaces music you added or removed. Reading what you say uses a little of your credits; with AI off, add music yourself.
  • One song: press Add music (or Use one song) under Add music for me and a free track is picked for the video's mood (or pick the mood: Upbeat, Calm, Bright and friendly, Energetic, Cinematic, Indian and world, Playful and funny, Emotional). Another song tries the next one. Or upload a track you have rights to.
  • Fit to the video (on for every new track): a short video gets the song's liveliest part, a longer one plays from where the sound starts (no silent intro), and a song shorter than the video repeats.
  • Level: Auto sets the music by how much you talk: it carries a video of photos with no speech, sits under a talking video, and stays low when you talk fast. Or pick Soft, Medium or Strong. Lower the music while someone talks and fade in and out are on.
  • Free music asks for credit: the line (song, artist, licence) is under the track with Copy credit, and it is added to the end of the YouTube description written in Deliver. Music for each part credits every song, in the order they play.
  • Make music for this has new music made for your video by ElevenLabs: no singing, the length of your video, in the mood picked for it (change the words in the box for another style). The price is on the button. Listen first, then press Use this, or Make another for a new one. Asking again for the same music is free. Made music needs no credit line.
  • Whoosh at scene changes and Pop when a zoom punches in for short-form energy.
  • Small sounds on key words: a soft sparkle on up to five words that matter (a tick on numbers), quiet under your voice.

Record a voice-over

Talk over your video while it plays: explain a product, add a story to b-roll, fix a line you said badly. In the Full editor, move the playhead to where you want to start, open Music and press Record voice-over. It's free and records on your phone or laptop.

  • Pick what the video's own sound does while you talk: Lower it or Mute it. The finished video does the same under your voice. Headphones keep the video's sound out of your recording.
  • Press Start. The first time, the browser asks for the microphone: press Allow. After a 3-2-1 the video plays from the playhead and you talk. Press Stop when you're done (it stops by itself at the end of the video).
  • Listen to it, then press Keep it, or Record again to try once more from the same place.
  • A kept voice-over sits on its own lane under the music. Drag it to move it, drag its ends to trim it. Click it for its Volume and what the video's sound does under it (Keep, Lower or Mute). Record as many as you like.
  • The music dips under a voice-over the way it dips under your talking, in the timeline, in Preview with effects and in every export.
  • Under Words, press Turn into text to put what you said in the subtitles. It uses the same speech-to-text as your clips; the price is on the button (free with Whisper on the server). While a voice-over plays with the video lowered or muted, the subtitles show only its words.
  • Delete voice-over (or Delete) takes it off. Press Undo on the message, or Bring back in the Music panel.
