Plan: the calendar and your ideas

The next 7 days with your open posting times, or the month: everything scheduled and posted, festival and sale days, and an idea list you drag onto days.

Plan: the calendar on the left, your ideas and the idea finder on the right.

The calendar

Plan opens on Week: the next 7 days, starting with Today and Tomorrow. The arrows move a week at a time, and Today brings you back. Switch to Month for the whole month. Colours show each post's state: green published, yellow scheduled, red failed. Plans sit in a dashed outline: an idea with a date has a bulb, and a campaign's posts have a blue bar and the campaign's name, so a set of posts reads as one. The key above the calendar names each mark. A small lamp marks a festival or sale day (Diwali, Karwa Chauth, Big Billion Days and so on), listed for your country to the end of next year.

Open times

On a computer, Week is laid out hour by hour: 12 am at the top to 11 pm at the bottom, with the hours down the left, and each post sits in the row of its time. A line marks the time now on today. Press an empty hour to write a post for it, or drop an idea or a post on it to move it to that hour. Your default voice's Posting slots (Brand › Your business › Posting) show in their hour with your posts. A slot that no post or plan fills shows as a dashed Open time, so you can see the gaps at a glance. The calendar's line under its title counts them.

  • Press an Open time to write a post for exactly that time.
  • Drop an idea on an Open time to plan it at that time.
  • Fill open times writes posts for the open times in the next 7 days as your voice, up to the number set in its Autopilot. It shows the price before it runs. Posts that need your OK wait on Today; the rest are scheduled, as the voice's Approval setting says.

Moving things

  • Drag a scheduled post (or a draft with a time) to another day to move it there at the same time of day, or onto an Open time to move it to that time. Undo in the message puts it back. Posts that went out, and posts read from your channels, stay where they are.
  • Drag an idea from the list onto a day to plan it.
  • Press an empty day to Schedule a post on this day.
  • Press a festival day to Plan a campaign for it, with the dates already filled in.

Ideas

Type an idea and press Add. It goes under No date yet. Drag it onto a day to plan it, or press Write to turn it into a post now. Make a campaign turns one idea into a set of posts. Press an idea, in the list or on the calendar, to open its plan.

An idea's plan

The plan window is shaped by what the idea is Made as. Everything you type is saved as you type, so closing the window loses nothing.

Made asWhat the plan has
YouTube videoAn angle, a Hook (the first 30 seconds), Chapters and a script of 3 to 12 minutes.
Reel or ShortA Hook (the first 3 seconds), Beats with the words on screen, and a script of 15 to 60 seconds.
CarouselIts Slides: a title and a line or two for each.
Text postNotes only. Press Write the post to write it in the composer.
  • Plan points are what you need before it can go out (shots to get, things to bring, who to ask). Tick them off as they're done.
  • For a video, Where it is shows its stage: Idea, Scripted, Filmed or Edited.
  • Write the script writes one from your angle, hook and chapters or beats, in the language and length you pick. The script it replaces is one Undo away.
  • Say it lets you talk instead: say what the video is about and the points you want to make, the way you'd say them. Your words show as you speak; press Write from this and AI writes the script from them, keeping your points and phrases. What you said is added to Notes, so Write it again uses it too. It listens in the script's language, and works in Chrome, Edge and Safari (not Firefox). Listening is free; the script costs the same as Write the script.
  • Record with teleprompter opens Video's recorder on the idea's own project, with the script scrolling. A take marks the idea Filmed, and Open the video takes you back to it.
  • Write the post opens the composer with the plan as the brief.
