Images
The image editor
Open a photo, size it for each channel, adjust the light and colour, add a headline or price tag, then download it or use it in a post.
Open Images and drop, browse or paste a photo (PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF). No photo? In Photos, start from a blank square, or make one with Generate. Photos also shows your images, to go back to any of them. Everything is drawn in your browser; nothing is uploaded until you use it in a post.
The tools are on the narrow bar left of the panel: Photos, Size, Adjust, Text, AI edit and Generate. Undo and Redo are at the top.
Start from a layout
In Photos (or New › From a layout), press Start from a layout and pick one of ten: offer post, price card, new arrival, festival greeting, review quote, YouTube thumbnail, reel cover, before / after, event or date, and how-to tips. Pick the Size first; each layout fits any shape. It opens as a new image made of normal text and shapes, so change anything. The layouts made for a photo use the open photo unless you turn that off.
- With a brand look set up in Brand › Your business, layouts use its fonts and colours, the voice's name when it is your shop's, and the first ₹ price in your products. The festival greeting is in Tamil or Hindi when that is the voice's language.
- Words like
{{product}}or{{price}}are for Batch: one image per row of a spreadsheet. Or type over them.
Size: one photo for every channel
Pick a shape: Original, Square post, Portrait post (4:5), Story / Reel (9:16), YouTube thumbnail (16:9), X post, LinkedIn post or Link preview. Fill & crop fills the frame; Fit whole photo keeps all of it. Scale the photo, rotate, Mirror and Flip (upside down) under it. Drag the picture to choose what's in frame. Crop freely puts a box on the photo: drag its corners or sides (or pick 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 or 16:9) and press Apply crop; Undo brings the whole photo back. (The − and + under the picture only change how big it shows on your screen, not the file.)
Adjust: light and colour
Start from a look (Vivid, Punch, Warm, Cool, Fade, Mono, Noir), then use the sliders: brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth, vignette and soften. Save as my look keeps your settings to reuse on every photo. Reset goes back to the original. Press and hold Hold to compare, under the picture, to see it without your changes; let go to see them again.
Text: headlines and price tags
Add a Headline, Subhead, Price tag or Call to action. The price tag uses the price from your brand voice's products when there is one, never a made-up number. Drag blocks to move them. Click one to change its font, size, colour and look in the bar over the picture; the panel has its words and where it sits. Text stays sharp on top of the photo, even after AI edits.
Your brand look: when your default brand voice has a look (colours and fonts, in Brand › Your business), new headlines use its heading font and new subheads its body font, price tags and calls to action sit on its colours, and every colour picker shows its five colours first. The font list in the bar starts with your brand fonts. No brand look set up? Everything works as before.
- A word in another colour: put stars round it, like
New *saree* ₹999. Pick the second colour in the bar over the picture. - Hindi and Tamil: pick हिन्दी (Mukta), हिन्दी round (Baloo 2) or தமிழ் (Mukta Malar) as the font. Tall (Anton) and Round (Poppins) suit English thumbnails.
- Outline + shadow in Look gives the thick dark edge thumbnails use, so words read on any photo.
- Words for the picture: say what it's about and pick a language. AI suggests six short lines; click one to add it.
- Check my design: AI looks at it as small as a phone feed shows it, scores it out of 10 and lists what to fix first.
See it in the feed
Under the picture, See it in the feed shows your design as small as people meet it: a YouTube thumbnail about 210 px wide in a home page with its title, channel and length; a post in an Instagram feed and profile grid (which crops to 3:4); a story or reel cover on a phone. Switch between Light and Dark. Free, nothing uploaded.
- Headline: 4 words or fewer reads at a glance.
- Contrast: each text against what is under it, measured on the picture. Under 4.5:1 is hard to see; try Outline + shadow or a Box.
- Size: text too small to read at feed size is flagged. Click a warning to select that text.
Make 3 versions
3 versions (under the picture, or in Download) changes one thing at a time: the Headline (type three, or let AI suggest some), the Colours (pairs of your brand colours), or the Photo (up to three photos or video frames). Press Show versions to see them side by side in the feed, then Keep as an image for the ones you like; each becomes its own image.
For a YouTube thumbnail, Use for a video's Test & Compare (in 3 versions or Download) adds the thumbnails to one of your Video projects, in Video › Deliver › Titles and testing. YouTube tests up to 3; the oldest ones make room.
Add: pictures, cut-outs, arrows and shapes
In Add, put a second Picture (a logo, another product) on top of the photo, or an Arrow, Circle or Box. Drag to move, drag the corner square to resize, and use the bar over the picture to turn, recolour, bring forward or send back. Layers lists everything, top first. Cut out makes a sticker of a person or product: click it in the photo, then press Make a sticker. It gets a white edge and a shadow, and it is free (nothing is uploaded). Change what's behind swaps the photo or puts a plain colour behind, and the text, pictures and shapes stay.
From your video (in New) opens a frame of one of your Video projects as a full-size photo. Slide to the moment you want, or pick one of the sharpest moments. Good for a YouTube thumbnail of your own face.
Emoji (in Add): search by a plain word (fire, price, diya) and click one. It is drawn by your device's own emoji font, big, and added as a picture you can move and resize. If your device doesn't have an emoji, it says so; pick another.
Sharpen ×2 / ×4 (in the bar over a selected picture) makes a small or blurry picture, like a logo or a product photo from WhatsApp, 2 or 4 times bigger and sharper, up to 4096 px. It runs on your device, free: the first time it loads the sharpener (about 35 MB, once). Big pictures take a minute; Stop leaves the picture as it was, and Undo brings the old one back. AI edit › Enhance is still there for a paid AI touch-up.
Erase takes out a small thing: a price sticker, a cable, a stain, a stranger in the back. Paint over it, and when you let go it's filled in to match what's around it. It's free and runs on your device: the first time it downloads the eraser (208 MB, once). Only the photo changes; text, pictures and shapes stay sharp on top. Stop leaves the photo as it was, and Undo brings the thing back. For a busy background, AI edit › Remove clutter (paid) clears it all at once.
Carousels
A carousel is 2 to 10 slides that people swipe through on Instagram. Press New › Carousel (or New carousel in Photos), pick 4:5 portrait or 1:1 square and how many slides. With an image open, it can be the first slide. It's free and runs on your device, like the rest of the editor.
- The slides sit in a strip under the picture. Click one to edit it with the usual tools: text, layouts, Add, Adjust, your brand look. Add, Duplicate and Delete are there too; drag a slide, or use the arrows, to change the order.
- Picture across slides: on a slide, press it, pick how many slides, then Choose a photo (a wide one works best) or use the slide's own. Each slide shows its part, so the swipe looks like one picture. Drag the photo on any of them and the rest follow; a look or colour change goes on all of them. Separate gives each slide its part as its own photo.
- Across a seam: drag a text or a shape over a slide's edge and the part that sticks out shows on the next slide, so it runs across the swipe. Change it on either slide.
- A layout on a carousel goes on the slide you're editing. Size offers only the two carousel shapes, and changing it changes every slide.
- Download saves every slide in one zip, numbered 01, 02, 03… in the format you pick. Use in post attaches all of them, in order, as one carousel post. Instagram takes up to 10.
- Made slides in the composer with Make a carousel from this post? Edit in Images opens them here, each title and line a normal text layer, to add photos or change anything.
Download, batch or use in a post
- Download as PNG (sharpest, keeps a see-through background), JPG (smallest) or WebP.
- Batch (under Download) applies the same size, look and text to up to 100 photos at once, or makes one image per row of a spreadsheet with
{{Column}}in the text filled from each row (prices, names). Download them as one zip. - Batch › Make for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, WhatsApp catalogue or Instagram Shop makes product photos ready to list. Each photo's background comes off on your device, free, and the product goes in the middle of a white background, filling 85% of the frame, with a soft shadow. Sizes: 2000 × 2000 for Amazon and Flipkart, 1500 × 1500 for Meesho, 1080 × 1080 for WhatsApp and Instagram, all JPG. For clothes on Flipkart, turn on the light grey background.
- Every photo shows before you download. A marked one needs a look. Click a photo to fix it: click the product to cut it again, then click more parts to add them (like the other earring), or Leave out. The first time, it loads the cutter (about 9 MB, once).
- Use in post opens the composer with the picture attached.
